DIGI-SWoRE is a project that targets micro and small scale women owned businesses in Mombasa and Kilifi Counties by digitizing their business activities and processes. DIGI-SWore targets women owned businesses that were directly negatively impacted by COVID-19 pandemic and risked closure due to lack of capacity to explore online markets.

DIGI-SWoRE project will recruit and train 50 women owned businesses that have been in operation at least a year before the onset of the pandemic in Mombasa and Kilifi in digital skills on effective use of social media platforms, entrepreneurship skills including online branding positioning, building resilient and sustainable businesses and responsible waste management practices with a focus on plastic segregation and trading to reduce marine pollution along the coast line in Mombasa and Kilifi.
